This course is the on-ramp to the Trek With a Vet training system. Students are introduced to foundational field habits, safety standards, and the operational rhythm used throughout the program.
The focus is not on speed or output, but on learning how to move, think, and work safely outdoors using simple, repeatable systems. Gear management, situational awareness, and decision-making under mild stress are emphasized.
This course stands alone as a solid fundamentals weekend or serves as preparation for advanced and week-long training.
